Locust Fork Baptist Church Kindergarten (LFBC-K) is a preschool ministry that desires to work with youin nurturing your child to form a firm foundation in your child’s life both spiritually, academically, and socially. For a preschool child, the early years are the “building blocks” for life and are crucial for the development of character; for developing the desire to learn; fordeveloping relationships outside the home; for recognizing God and His love for them; and for developing an understanding of the world around them.

LFBC-Kindergarten 2010-2011 Registration

March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

Parents will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the Teachers, and pick up an Enrollment Packet on any Monday in March from 8 am until 12 noon.

The completed Enrollment Packet and the $75 Registration Fee may be returned any Monday

March 1st -29th or April 5 & 19 & 26, 2010.

Registration will be accepted until class capacity is reached. All other Applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Each K3 class capacity is 10-12 students per room, each K4 class capacity is 12-14 students per room, and each K5 class capacity is 12-14 students per room.

LFBC-KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM

ABEKA curriculum is a phonetically structured age appropriate curriculum, based on Christian foundations.

The children are taught letter recognition, number recognition, counting concepts, colors and

shapes recognition, all through a multi sensory approach. Also incorporated are additional activities

and crafts to develop and strengthen auditory, communication, social, coordination, fine motor

and gross motor skills. Most importantly preschoolers will hear about GOD on a daily basis

through Bible Stories, through prayer, and through singing.

2010-11 FEES AND COSTS

APPLICATION FEE - $75.00 per year

BOOK & SUPPLY FEE - $200.00 per year

K3 TUITION - $850.00 per year
K4 TUITION - $950.00 per year
K5 TUITION - $1100.00 per year

CLASS PARTY FEE - $40.00

The Student Application Fee must accompany the Student Application and Enrollment Forms. The Student Application Fee is non-refundable.

BOOK & SUPPLY FEE - $200.00

The Book & Supply Fee purchases all ABEKA student workbooks and all classroom supplies that each child will need throughout the entire school year. Supplies such as crayons, pencil box, pencils, construction paper, scissors, glue stick, bottled glue, craft art items, crafts supplies, big seasonal crafts, hand soap, hand wipes, tissue, toilet tissue, paper towels, art paper, paint, antibacterial hand gel, etc. will be provided with this fee. Crayons and glue are replaced as needed during the school year. Book and Supply Fee is due August 1, 2010.

We request that parents purchase their child a backpack large enough to carry a letter sized pocket folder, a snack, a lunch box, and a jacket, but lightweight enough for them to manage.

Party Fee - $40.00

Party Fee provides gifts, special snacks, etc planned during the school year. Party Fee is due October 1, 2010.

2010-2011 TUITION

K 3 Student attends preschool 3 days a week for 10 months. If the Tuition is remitted monthly @ $85.00 per month the Tuition is due the first day of school in August and each month thereafter by the 15^th of each month until May 2011.

Student Application Fee is waived, if the Full Year Tuition is paid before the first day of school.

K 4 Student attends preschool 4 days a week for 10 months. If the Tuition is remitted monthly @ $95.00 per month the Tuition is due the first day of school in August and each month thereafter by the 15^th of each month until May 2011.

Student Application Fee is waived, if the Full Year Tuition is paid before the first day of school.

K 5 Student attends preschool 5 days a week for 10 months. If the Tuition is remitted monthly @ $110.00 per month the Tuition is due the first day of school in August and each month thereafter by the 15^th of each month until May 2011.

Student Application Fee is waived, if the Full Year Tuition is paid before the First Day of School.

**Once a parent or guardian has enrolled the student, they are agreeing that the child will attend

class from August 2010 until May 2011 and that the parents will remit all Tuition and Fees due for the

2010-2011 School Year.

DURING THE PRESCHOOL YEAR

Class Field Trips: Field Trips/Workshops information regarding the location, date, and cost will be announced by the individual class monthly calendar and or the 2010-2011 Yearly Calendar.

Kindergarten Graduation Cap and Gown The Parents will be notified of the cap & gown cost in February.

Extended Care AM or PM is provided for children who need care before or after school as needed. The cost of Early Care or Extended Day Care is $1.25 per half hour.
